Sayville, Long Island, November, 2009 – EW Scripps Company has selected Brainworks Software to provide a fully hosted, centralized, integrated advertising and circulation software system to manage advertising and distribution across their newspaper properties. EW Scripps, founded in 1878, is based in Cincinnati and owns newspapers in California, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Washington, South Carolina, and Florida.

The Brainworks/Scripps enterprise wide system will be fully hosted and managed from a centralized hosting center. All data will be live-mirrored to a secondary hosting site in another state. The implementation began in 2010 and will finish in 2011.
