Wenatchee World and Peninsula Daily News Take New Systems Live. News-Register Receives Update.
2008 sees Brainworks’ newest customers in the Northwest take their new systems live and their oldest customer receive an update.
Sayville, Long Island, January, 2009 – Brainworks Software, the leading provider of newspaper advertising and circulation systems for North America has announced that their two newest customers in the Northwest have taken their recently installed advertising systems live.
The Wenatchee World, a family-owned daily newspaper with a circulation of 26,000 located in Wenatchee, WA recently purchased a complete classified, retail and web advertising, accounts receivable and CRM system from Brainworks. After approximately 3 months of setup and training, the system was taken live on schedule in October. The Wenatchee World is published by the World Publishing Co. of Wenatchee, WA.
The Peninsula Daily News, a daily newspaper with circulation of 17,000 located in Port Angeles, WA recently added to their existing Brainworks Retail Advertising, Accounts Receivable and Circulation systems with the purchase of classified advertising and web ad order entry functionality. The classified call center went live in December and Peninsula flipped the switch for their new online ad order entry website in January.
The News-Register, a weekly newspaper with circulation of 7,400 located in McMinnville, OR received an update to their Brainworks Retail Advertising and Accounts Receivable system. The upgrade to version 7 occurred in November.
Brainworks software has been installed at over 800 North American newspapers over the past 25 years. Products include fully integrated classified and display advertising, billing, accounts receivable, contract and credit management, classified pagination, ROP ad layout, editorial and editorial pagination, and a state-of-the art Sales Force Automation system supporting Web and Palm OS platforms.
