Peninsula Daily News Signs Agreement for new Classified System

Agreement will add classified print and Web functionality to existing Brainworks Retail Advertising, Accounts Receivable and Circulation System.

Sayville, Long Island, February, 2008 – Brainworks Software, the leading provider of newspaper advertising and circulation systems for North America has announced the agreement for the addition of classified advertising and web ad order entry functionality to the existing retail advertising, billing and circulation system from the Peninsula Daily News of Port Angeles, WA, a daily newspaper with a circulation of 17,169.

The installation is scheduled to get underway in February and is planned to complete by mid-year. Brainworks is replacing a MediaSpan classified advertising system.

Products include fully integrated classified and display advertising, billing, accounts receivable, contract and credit management, classified pagination, ROP ad layout, editorial and editorial pagination, and a state-of-the art Sales Force Automation system supporting Web and Palm OS platforms.
